Brandon’s House offers free counseling services to teens, by providing solutions to the many problems facing today’s teenager. Individual, family and marriage counseling is also available. Youth Lunch is a ministry for New Albany High School seniors. Every Monday from 11:00 a.m.—1:00 p.m., students may come to DePauw and have lunch for $1. An inspirational message is shared with the students.
B.E.A.R. Ministry is another way DePauw is reaching out to those in need. Teddy bears donated by our congregation and the community are blessed by listening to God’s word during our services. The bears are then given a special message from DePauw and made available for anyone to take to a person in need of a smiling, furry reminder of God’s love.
Thrift Shop is a ministry offering affordable clothing and household items to families in our community. The DePauw Memorial Church Thrift Shop is located next to DePauw at 903 Vincennes Street, phone 948-6670. Donations are welcome.
Transportation to church is offered on Sunday mornings to anyone needing a way to DePauw for worship service. Call the office at 945-6537 for more information.
Care Ministry offers support to those who are ill or homebound. Showing how much you care greatly benefits both the giver and the receiver.
Mission Support is reaching out to others in our community, nation, and world through the United Methodist Church and Interfaith Community Council. DePauw is bringing assistance, food, clothing and the word of God to those in need.
Bible Study helps a person develop a stronger faith. You are invited to join one of the Sunday school classes and also participate in the weekly Bible study. In addition, short-term small group studies are offered through the year. Through bible study, lives are transformed!
Prayer Ministry makes a difference in the lives of people by praying for the hurts and needs of others.
Sunday Church School is an important way to stimulate the mind and ignite the soul through learning about Christ.
